Stuart A. Taylor II is CEO of The Taylor Group, LLC. He started The Taylor Group in late 2001 following a 19-year career on Wall Street.

He began his career at Morgan Stanley and finished at Bear Stearns where he was a Senior Managing Director, Head of the Chicago Office and ran the firm’s investment banking business in the Midwest.

Mr. Taylor has been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business as one of its Top Forty Under Forty business leaders in Chicago, was named by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the Top Twenty-five Blacks on Wall Street and was a recipient of the Professional Achievement Award from The African American Alumni Association of Harvard Business School.

Mr. Taylor is a graduate of Yale University with a Major in History and received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business with a concentration in Finance.

Mr. Taylor serves on the Board of Directors of Ball Corporation and Hillenbrand Inc. as well as on the boards of several smaller private companies and nonprofit organizations. He is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, professional development and personal financial management.
